Terry Radford Childers

Mrs. Terry Radford Childers, age 76 of 390 Spring St., Pacolet, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Childers was born in Union, February 24, 1947, a daughter of the late John Burgess and Erlene Horne Burgess. She attended Jonesville High School and was retired from Union Co. School District having worked at Jonesville Elementary. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church and was first married to the late Donald Lee Radford. She loved being "Nanny" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Rogers Childers; a daughter, Kathy Lowe and husband Steve of Pacolet; a son, Eric Radford and wife Mary of North Augusta; a sister, Ada Turner and a brother, Loyd Burgess both of Jonesville. She is survived by grandchildren, Casey Lewis, Justin Cannon, Kaila Greene and Tyler Lowe and great-grandchildren, Trent Lewis, Alivia Lewis, Logan Lewis, Kynsleigh Greene, Kyson Greene, Annalise Lowe and Savannah Robinson. She was predeceased by five siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville, conducted by Rev. Steven McAbee. Burial will follow at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services.

The family will be at the home, 390 Spring St., Pacolet.
