Mr. Terry Wayne Vaughan Sr., husband of Mrs. Jean A. Vaughan passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Vaughan was born May 15, 1949 in Union, a son of the late Mr. Henry Vaughan and Mrs. Grace Sanders Vaughan. He was a graduate of Union High School and attended USC-Union. He was a lifelong member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Air Force. Mr. Vaughan had previously worked as a letter carrier with the US Postal Service. Mr. Vaughan was a member of the Union Masonic Lodge No. 75, Elks B.P.O. Lodge No. 1321, Shriners Club and a member of the Union Express Music Depot Band.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Terry Vaughan Jr. and wife Holly of Townville, SC, Scott Vaughan of Columbia, SC, one daughter, Trina Hardin and husband Brian of Union, four grandchildren, Tanner Hardin, Libby Hardin, Taylor Millwood and Lindsay Vaughan and five great grandchildren all of Union. Also surviving are one sister Shirley Lawson of Fletcher, NC and one Brother David Vaughan and wife Ollie of Union.

Funeral Services for Mr. Vaughan will be held Monday June 22, 2020 in the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel at 1:00PM conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tommy Vaughn. Burial with Masonic rites will follow the service at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be George Starnes, Danny Crocker, Sid Palmer, Ray Chalk, Mike Grigg, Wayne Todd, Chris Mangun and Steve Ramsey.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00PM prior to the service.

Memorial may be made to the Music Depot c/o Arana and George Starnes at 1307 Linersville Road, Buffalo, SC 29321 or Tabernacle Baptist Church at 915 South Pinckney Street, Union, SC 29379.
