Thesis Ivey Tillison

Mrs. Thesis Ivey Tollison, age 77, of 761 Barnado Rd., Union, widow of Charles D. Tollison, Sr., passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Tollison was born in Union, SC on September 22, 1938 a daughter of the late Emmett Ivey and Thelma Ivey Morris. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Julie T. Gregory; a son, David Tollison; a sister Nancy I. Stepp and husband Robert; a brother, E. Bird Ivey and wife Donna; three grandchildren, Ivey Gregory, Gregg Gregory, and Nan Gregory; and a special niece, Emily Ivey. Mrs. Tollison was predeceased by a brother, Johnny W. Ivey. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. John Lee and Rev. Scott Cobb. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Kenny Proctor, Brian Knox, John Boy Johnson, Ronnie Ivey, Jeff Stepp, and Keith Ivey. Visitation will be held 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Brown's Creek Baptist Church, 118 Brown's Creek Church Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home, 761 Barnado Rd., Union, SC 29379.
