Thomas J.W Calhoun, Jr

Mr. Thomas J.W. "Tom" Calhoun, Jr., age 54 of 141 Dupree Farm Rd., Buffalo, passed away at his home. Mr. Calhoun was born in Union December 13, 1962, a son of the late Thomas J.W. Calhoun, Sr and Junie Inez Lawson Calhoun. He was a graduate of Union High School and was formerly employed with Heatherly's Auto. Mr. Calhoun was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sisters: Kathy Ann Medlock and husband Thomas Medlock, Jr. of Beaufort and Patsy Snowden and fiancée Jim Bradley of Cowpens; two brothers: John Wayne Calhoun and wife Renee and Robert Miles Calhoun; two nieces: Tammie Calhoun and fiancée Chris Hicks and Wendy Calhoun and husband John; a great-niece, Skylar Hicks; a great-nephew, Jamison Hicks all of Union and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Calhoun was predeceased by a brother, Eddie Leon Calhoun. Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 conducted by Rev. Buddy Hogan at the home of his niece, Wendy and John Calhoun, 111 Excelsior Avenue, Union. Visitation will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thomas Calhoun, Jr Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home of his niece, Wendy Calhoun.
