Thomas Walker Massingale

Mr. Thomas Walker Massingale, age 76, of 116 Academy St., Jonesville, passed away, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Massingale was born March 28, 1950, in Fairfax, VA, a son of the late Claude Massingale and Peggy Teeter Massingale. He retired from the Fire Protection Industry after 40 years. Mr. Massingale was the Treasurer of the Moose Lodge.

Surviving are his companion and caregiver, Carolyn Lanier of the home; two nieces, Marie Britt and husband Larry and Gracie Baldwin all of Pickens; a nephew, Garrett Baldwin of Pickens; a sister, Donna Derossett of Pickens; even though he and Carolyn had no children, her children were his children.

Honoring Mr. Massingale’s wishes, no services will be held.
