Thomas E. O’Shields, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Earl "Pops" O'Shields, Sr., age 69, husband of Kay McCraw O'Shields of 210 Drugstore St., Buffalo, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. O'Shields was born in Union, September 14, 1946, a son of the late Robert and Minnie Gault. He was a graduate of Union High School and was retired from Jetliner Printing in Gaffney. Mr. O'Shields was a dedicated volunteer with the Friends of Whitten Center and was also an avid Clemson fan. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Stephanie O'Shields of Union; two sons, Thomas O'Shields of Union and James Moore and wife Sarah of Gaffney; eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Mr. O'Shields was predeceased by a son Steven Moore. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date by the family. The family will be at the home, 210 Drugstore St., Buffalo.
