Thomas Lewis Simmons, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Lewis Simmons, Sr., age 72, husband of Donna Carter Simmons of 300 S Main Street, Jonesville, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at his home. Mr. Simmons was born in Spartanburg, SC December 13, 1943, a son of the late Lewis Mack Simmons and Nancy Sturgill Simmons. He had attended Spartanburg Technical College; retired from Kohler Company and was an avid fisherman. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons: Thomas Lewis Simmons, Jr and wife Angie of Union; Todd Simmons and wife Pam of Spartanburg, Nick Simmons and wife Bethany and Matt Simmons and fiancée Corina all of Jonesville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and special friends, Doc and Nancy Lipsey and Debbie Guy. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2016 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will be in Jonesville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Dale Wynn, Tyler Adams, Cameron Coone, Eric Stepp, T.J. Guy and Josh Addis. The following are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Tony Addis, Chris Arnold and Jerry Freeman. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Sunday evening at the chapel. The family is at the home, 300 S. Main Street, Jonesville.
