Thomas N. “Tom” Williams

November 21, 2016 Mr. Thomas N. "Tom" Williams age 75, husband of Inez Hill Williams, of 639 Fairview Church Circle, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mr. Williams was born in Union, SC April 21, 1941 a son of the late Adolphus Williams and Emma Alverson Williams. He was first married to the late Carol Vaughan. Mr. Williams was retired from Torrington & Co. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and the Union County Coon Hunt Club. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Kellie W. Bennett and Wendy Smith and husband Ricky all of Union; two sons, Tim Hill and wife Kimberly and Mike Hill all of Union; two sisters, Eva W. Smith and Martha W. Irvin both of Union; three brothers, John Williams of Union, Dalton Williams of Union, and Joe Williams of Spartanburg; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren who he loved with all of his heart; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Scotty Williams and infant Thomas Kendral Williams; one daughter, Kathy Harris; and one brother, Marion Williams. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Beulah Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Mark Truitt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Williams' nephews will serve as the active pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church. The family is at the home 639 Fairview Church Circle, Union, SC 29379.
