Timothy Doc Floyd

Mr. Timothy Doc Floyd, age 59, husband of Gina Carter Floyd of 139 Webber Lake Road, Union, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Mr. Floyd was born January 22, 1966, in Williams, Arizonia, a son of Ester Irene Clemens Floyd of Union and the late Leroy Floyd. He was a 1984 graduate of Union High School and had worked as a parts house manager. Mr. Floyd was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Gina, of 32 years are his sons, Matthew Garrison Floyd and Makayla Scruggs, Andrew Carter Floyd and Madeline Carter, all of Union and a brother, Jimmy Floyd and his wife, Diala of Iowa. Mr. Floyd is also survived by brothers-in-law, Mike Carter (Michelle) and Eddie Carter; his father-in-law, Floyd Carter, a number of nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Lilly Dog. He was predeceased by a nephew, Hunter Carter, a sister-in-law, Wanda Carter and his mother-in-law, Brenda Carter.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Union Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Robert Scott. Visitation will follow the services at the gravesite.

Active pallbearers will be David Becknell, Joe Stepp, Mark Gregory, Jeremy Joye, Robert Gibson and Alfred Belk.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home for the love, care, and concern shown to Timothy during his illness.
