Timothy Wayne Kingsmore

Mr. Timothy Wayne Kingsmore, age 66 of 3474 Cross Keys Hwy, Union passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his home. He was married to Linda Duckett Kingsmore. Mr. Kingsmore was born in Union, SC March 1, 1950, a son of the late Wayne Kingsmore and Mabel Elliott Kingsmore. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Bi-Lo following thirty-three years of service. Mr. Kingsmore was an avid golfer, a sports enthusiasts especially a big fan of Clemson and the Atlanta Braves. Surviving are a two daughters: Lesley Elizabeth Kingsmore and Jessica Kingsmore Wood and husband Wenston; two sons: David Anthony Kingsmore and wife Amy and Tyler Adam Kingsmore and wife Ashley all of Union; six grandchildren: James Bailey Kingsmore, Thomas Bradon Kingsmore, Hannah Elizabeth Liner, Kayson Elliott Kingsmore, Levi Dixon Kingsmore, Rayna Marie Wood and a granddaughter soon to be born, Remi Kate Wood; a special great-grandchild due in April; two sisters: Janice Duckett and husband Larry and Sherry McCoy and husband Steve al of Union and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Lower Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jim Cunningham. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Stanley Elliott, Clayton Duckett, Brandon Boyea, Trevor Duckett, Colton Duckett, Davey Betenbough and Eric McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be the former members and golf friends of Mr. Kingsmore at Fairwood Country Club and River Chase Golf Club. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening, September 16, 2016 at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of his son, Tyler and Ashley Kingsmore, 349 Boatman Springs Rd., Union, SC 29379.
