Tina Lee Sorrells

Ms. Tina Lee Sorrells, age 62, of 145 Haney Rd., Buffalo, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Ms. Sorrells was born October 20, 1956 a daughter of the late Jack Sorrells and Dorothy Kendrick Owensby. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Brenda Walker and husband Dennis of Buffalo; two brothers, Jim Sorrells of Waynesville, NC and Gene Sorrells and wife Cathy of Spartanburg; a special sister-in-law, Alice Sorrells of Union; a special aunt, Juanita Kendrick of Union and a special friend, Beth Walker of Buffalo; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great-niece. She was predeceased by one brother, Charles Sorrells. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Benji Sorrells, Cameron Newton, Larry Goins, Tripp Goins, Larry Goins, II, and Andy Eller. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to New Hope Baptist Church, C/O Youth Fund, 308 Linersville Rd., Buffalo, SC 29321. The family is at the home of her sister-in-law, Alice Sorrells, 103 Gregory St., Union, SC 29379.
