Tina Louise Turner

Mrs. Tina Louise Turner, age 56, of 280 Deep Water Rd., Union, widow of Elmer Mance "Big Sam" Turner, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Turner was born in Albemarle, NC, November 1, 1967 a daughter of the late Mattie Lou Cameron Kimmer. She was very much a people person and worked alongside her sister at Keepsake Jewelers. She always cared more about others than she did herself and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Turner was a member of Sardis Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Candice Turner; a son, Jim Turner and wife Candi; two sisters, Anna Lemons and husband Phillip all of Union, and Joyce Hitt and husband Tommy of Jonesville; a brother, Wayne Kimmer and wife Martha of Boiling Springs and a step son, John Mance Turner and wife Michelle of Cross Keys. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Bentley Turner and Bailey Turner.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 1, 2024 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Dr. Steve Lemons. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Monday at the chapel prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tina Louise Turner Fund, PO Box 148, Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home of her son, Jim and Candi Turner, 104 James St., Union.
