Tommy Wilburn Adams

Mr. Tommy Wilburn Adams, age 64, formerly of Lovers Lane Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mr. Adams was born in Union, SC January 2, 1950, a son of the late Arthur M. "Buck" Adams and Mary Fincher Adams. He was a 1968 graduate of Union High School and retired from Union Oil Mill. Mr. Adams attended Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Dottie Adams Bevis of Union; a sister, Janie Adams Jones and husband Robert of Cherryville, NC; a brother, Buddy Adams and wife Susan of Covington, GA; two grandchildren: Tristen Brock and Rydder Bevis both of Union. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 PM Wednesday in the chapel prior to the service. The family is at the home of Sally McClellen, 100 Holly Drive, Union.
