Miss Chrystal Victoria "Tori" Tyler, age 20, of 127 Bonham Station Rd., Union, received her heavenly wings, Thursday, January 24, 2019. Tori was born in Spartanburg, May 27, 1998. She is the daughter of Crystal Tyler Crocker and husband Danny of the home. Her biological parents are Larry Travis Tyler of Union and Michelle Yates Vasquez of Boiling Springs. Tori attended Excelsior Middle School where she was a part of Jennie O'Dell and Judy Fant's class. She also attended Buffalo Elementary School where she was a part of Betsy Sheorn and Betty Ann Carroll's class. Tori was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her parents are siblings: Jada Tyler, Mallory Vasquez, Melina Vasquez, Joshua Tyler and Mikael Vasquez. Maternal grandparents are Charles and Marilyn Yates of Jonesville. Her aunts and uncles are Chris and Christy Scott and T.J. and Nicole Tyler; cousins are Emma and Anna Scott and Madelyn and Gabriel Tyler all of Union. She is also survived by numerous great-aunts, uncles and cousins. Tori was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Edgar Larry Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randy Smith, Rev. Joey Shetley, and Rev. John Lee. Burial will be at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joel Candler, David Candler, Zachary Candler, Rodney Gallman, Jeremy Gallman, and Danny Crocker, Jr. Honorary pallbearer Walker Gallman, Jr. The following are asked to serve as the honorary escort: Kim Austin, Charlene Gibson, Jamie Duncan, Gwen Ivey, Dana Dann, Richard Miller, Dr. Margot Butler, Dr. Sami Rishmawi, and Dr. Hannah Sahhar. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Miracle League of Union, P.O. Box 425, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home, 127 Bonham Station Rd. Union.
