Tousha Michelle Smith

January 2, 2016 Ms. Tousha Michelle Vinson Smith, age 39 of 202 Hart Street, Union, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Ms. Smith was born in Union, SC December 16, 1976, a daughter of Ernest Franklin Vinson and Trina Howell Vinson of Union. She was a graduate of Union High School and ITT Technical College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Ms. Smith was formerly employed with Renfro Industries. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church Surviving in addition to her parents are a son, Dillon Scott Smith; a daughter-in-law, Niyoke Kennedy both of Union; three grandchildren: Audriauna Michelle Smith, Jayden Scott Smith and Nyiauna Kennedy; a brother, Michael Shane Howell; a mother-in-law, Rita Jean Smith; adoptive parents: Beth & Bud Broom; her sissy, Kelly Crowe and husband Samuel; nephew and niece, Noah & Macie Crowe; cousins, Bob and Brenda Wilkins; special cousins, Derrick Johnson and Mitchell Benton; great-aunts, Katherine Palmer and Joan Witherington; a special friend, Jo Ann Morris. Ms. Smith was predeceased by an aunt, Belinda Darlene Johnson, grandparents, Tommy Howell and Mamie, Lou Kendrick, Nina Pearl Shetley and Juanita Wilkins and a great-aunt Myrt Laws. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Rick Cook. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mark Shetley, Gene Shetley, Derrick Johnson, Kent Smith, Randy Lee and Ellis Lancaster. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel Memorials may be made to Tousha Smith Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of her cousin, Beth & Bud Broom, 202 Hart Street, Union.
