Travis Wayne Bright

Mr. Travis Wayne Bright, age 75, widower of Wanda Queen Bright of Union, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Greer at the home of his daughter. Mr. Bright was born in Gaffney, March 5, 1942, a son of the late Willie Travis Bright and Nellie Wylie Bright. He was a retired textiles worker and a former member of the S.C. National Guard, Union Unit. Mr. Bright was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are a daughter, Kim B. Morgan and husband Brian of Greer; a son, Kenneth Bright and wife Angie of Union; four grandchildren, Briana Hammett and husband Steve, Travis Morgan and wife Danielle, Ashley Anthony and husband Brett and Jordan Nichols and husband Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Darian Shafer, Colton Anthony, Maddox Anthony and Aiden Morgan. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Tonya Highlander and the staff of Hospice Care of S.C. for their care of Mr. Bright during his illness. Private graveside services were held on Tuesday by Rev. Eddie Saxon. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of S.C., 408 N. Duncan ByPass, Suite 200, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home of his son, Kenneth and Angie Bright.
