Valerie Webber Medford

Mrs. Valerie Webber Medford, age 93, of 276 Vernon Foster Rd., Union, widow of Arville Ray Medford, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Medford was born in Florence, January 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Fontain Wilkes Webber and Marie Fowler Webber. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from Milliken and Co., Monarch Plant. Mrs. Medford was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church where she has served as a Sunday School teacher and in various other areas of the church. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are three daughters, Jerri Sailors and Linda Keith Carter and husband Francis all of Union and Brenda Keith of the home; a step-daughter, Rebecca Anthony and husband Carlisle of Union; a son, David Joe Keith of Union; a step-son, Ray Medford and wife Joan of Mauldin; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Medford was predeceased by a son, Michael Wayne Perry and a grandson, Gene Anthony.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, November 20, 2020 at Sardis United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Farmer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 2:30 PM prior to the service

Active pallbearers will be Paul Morris, Ronnie Perry, Shane Keith, Shane Alman, Kaine Alman and Jace Alman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church, 964 Sardis Rd., Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home, 276 Vernon Foster Rd., Union.
