Valerie Lowe Wilson

Mrs. Valerie Lowe Wilson, age 83, wife of John Daniel Wilson of 435 Peach Orchard Rd. Union, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wilson was born in Union, July 16, 1935 a daughter of the late James Howard Lowe and Ruth Sumner Lowe. She was a graduate of Union High School and a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She served as church secretary and also organist and pianist. She was member of the WMU for many years and a GA leader. Surviving in addition to her husband is a sister, Peggy Jean Horne of Union. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Robert Horne. A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Aulbrey Calvert.
