Victor Leon Dawkins

Mr. Victor "Vic" Leon Dawkins, 65, of 1425 Brown's Creek Church Rd, Union, passed away at his home Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Mr. Dawkins was born March 20, 1960, in Union, a son of the late Miller Dawkins and Minne Madeline Williams Dawkins. He retired from Spartan Steel of Spartanburg. Mr. Dawkins was a CB radio enthusiast and enjoyed chatting with people from other states. He was also an avid NASCAR and short track racing fan and a lifetime fan of professional wrestling. Vic was known for his wonderful sense of humor, always ready to share a joke or a laugh with his friends and family.

Mr. Dawkins is survived by his granddaughter, Dacey Sumner of Jonesville, a great grandson, Colson Belue, a sister, Elaine Roberts and a brother, Michael Gene Dawkins, both of Union. He is also survived by a son-in-law, Jonathan Hendrix and nieces, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dawkins was predeceased by his daughter Amanda Dawkins, a granddaughter, Paisley Sierra Knox and two sisters, Virginia Harris and Rebecca LaBeth.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, 310 W South Street, Union.
