Victor Eugene Horne, Jr.

Mr. Victor Eugene "Buggy" Horne, Jr, age 49 of 172 Rocky Knoll Rd., Pacolet, SC passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Mary Black Hospital in Gaffney. Mr. Horne was born in Union August 4, 1967, a son of the late Victor Eugene Horne, Sr. and Elizabeth Knox Horne Davis. He was formerly employed with John M. Robinson Logging and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Ethan Horne of the home; a sister, Kim Roark and husband Tommy "Squeaky" Roark; a brother, Rodney Horne and wife Julie all of Jonesville; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Horne was predeceased by a sister, Wendy Horne. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Burial will be in the church cemetery Active pallbearers will be Josh Lipsey, Trint Horne, Alex Chapman, John Horne, Frankie Chapman, Derrek Eaves and Travis Barrier. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 PM Tuesday in the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victor Eugene Horne, Jr. Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of his sister, Kim and Squeaky Roark, 697 Bobby Faucett Rd., Jonesville, SC 29353.
