Virgie B. Osborne

November 29, 2018 Ms. Virgie B. Osborne, age 88 of 2024 Whitmire Hwy, Union, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her home. Ms. Osborne was born in Buffalo, SC June 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Hampton B. Osborne and Eliza Maness Osborne. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Ms. Osborne was very devoted to her family and the care of all the children. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are two daughters: Mitzi Caldwell of the home and Katrina Padgett of North Carolina; four grandchildren: Stacey Wilbanks and husband Chris of Union, Jessica Hyatt-Webb of Pacolet, Melissa Berry-Means and husband Wallace of Union and Tiffany Bridges and husband Tyler of North Carolina and a number of great-grandchildren. Miss Osborne was predeceased by a son, Randy Johnson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 2, 2018 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Wallace Means, Stanley Dalton, Ermy Wilson, Paul Hyatt, Brian McMahon and Adam Webb, II. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday evening at SR Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 2024 Whitmire Hwy., Union.
