Virginia (Turner) Burgess

Mrs. Virginia Turner "Teck" Burgess, age 79, of 525 Littlejohn Road, Jonesville, widow of Frank "Buddy" Roberts passed away, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at her home.

Mrs. Burgess was born December 6, 1943, in Union, a daughter of the late George Turner and Bertha Patterson Turner.  She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from Milliken & Co.—Cedar Hill Plant.  Mrs. Burgess was a member of Jonesville Church of God.

Surviving are a daughter Angie B. Jones and husband Danny of Buffalo; a son, Troy Burgess of Jonesville; a step-son, Ricky Roberts of Jonesville; a step-daughter, Cynthia Roberts of Jonesville; one sister; one brother; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Scarlett Roberts; a granddaughter, Shelly Burgess; a step-son, Kenny Roberts; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by the Rev. Stacey Strickland. Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Chaz Roberts, Michael Vanderford, T.J. Young, Stevie Pettie, Jaycub Lancaster, and John Young.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel.
