Mrs. Virginia "Babe" Fowler Haney, age 95, of 136 Seigler Rd., Union, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Haney was born in Union, April 8, 1929, a daughter of the late William T. Fowler and Hettie Gregory Fowler.  A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she had also worked in sales with different retailers over the years. Mrs. Haney was a member of Buffalo Methodist Church where she was a member of the Pat Flood Circle and was also a member of the "Forever Friends" club.

The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by three daughters, Hedy Harrison and husband Tim of Union, Patricia Hancock and husband Don of Six Mile, and Kim Gregory and husband Johnny of Santuc; four grandchildren; Jackie Broome of Easley, Chris Broome and wife Lisa of Central, Paul Harrison and wife Rebecca and Leigh Dickens and husband Will all of Greenville; and six great-grandchildren, Joe and Jack Harrison, Leighton Borders, Krista Broome, Jasmine Ochoa and Draven Hancock. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan Hancock, two sisters and three brothers.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Buffalo Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Farmer. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the services.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Hedy and Tim Harrison, 143 Seigler Rd., Union.
