Vivian F. Colson

Mrs. Vivian Faye Franklin Colson, age 73 of 208 Cambridge Dr., Union, widow of Fred W. Colson, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Mary Black Hospital.

Mrs. Colson was born in Union, December 31, 1948, a daughter of the late Chandous Allen "C.A." Franklin and Lois Shetley Franklin. She was a 1967 graduate of Union High School and retired in 2007 from Disney Distribution. Mrs. Colson was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter Alma Rebekah Hanna and husband Alex of Shepherdstown, W.VA; two sons, Robert Allen Colson and Jason Matthew Colson and wife Heather all of Union; a sister, Lora Jane Franklin of Clinton; grandchildren, Jacob Colson, Ashley Colson, Aurora Rullmann, Harrison Hanna and Rowan Hanna; and number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family will be at the home of her son, Jason and Heather Colson, 114 Bentley Town Rd., Union.
