Vyral Porter Bogan

Mrs. Vyral Porter Bogan, age 87, widow of David W. Bogan, Sr., of 1059 Gaffney Hwy., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Bogan was born in Spartanburg, October 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Ralph and Grace Tuck Porter. She retired from Physicians Billing Services in Spartanburg and was formerly employed with Union Camp. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was first married to the late David Robinson.

Surviving are three daughters, Wanda Lemons and husband Ray and Cheryl Robinson Harris and husband Sam all of Jonesville, and Lisa Anne Tidey of Cowpens; a son David W. Bogan, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren Lara Ann Whitehead and husband Ryan, Casey Layman and husband Jason, Kristi Morgan-Loving and husband Shane, Heather Cushman and husband Phillip, Kelby Tidey, Tristin Tidey and Kaitlyn Bogan; and twelve great-grandchildren, Gavon, Evan Aschelynn, Kaylee, Ava Grace, Miller, Karson, Easton, Tanner, Brody, Kayson and Jeanette. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty McSwain and a brother, Carroll Porter.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2022 at Bogansville United Methodist Cemetery by Ken Pinney.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.

The family will be at their respective homes.
