Wakina (Dorsey) Kirby

Mrs. Wakina Dorsey Kirby, age 45, of 121 Barnado Rd., Union, widow of Earnest Kent "Kenny" Kirby, II, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Kirby was born in Gainsville, GA, February 8, 1976 a daughter of Shirley Williams Dorsey and the late Lamar Dorsey.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving in addition to her mother are a daughter, Alexis Kirby of Union; three sons, Adam Chase Kirby, Ernest Kent Kirby, III, and David Brian Kirby all of Union; two brothers, Landon Williams of Union and Ernest Jennings, III and husband Steve of Newberry; and one granddaughter, Ar'Moni Tucker.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook.  Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wakina Dorsey Kirby Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379.
