Warren Douglass Upton

August 8, 2017 Mr. Warren Douglass Upton, age 63, of 140 Ligon St., Pacolet, passed away August 8, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Upton was born September 17, 1953 in Spartanburg County a son of the late Walter Upton and Juanita Burrell Upton. He was retired from Milliken Research in Spartanburg and was a member of Bryant Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are two children, Summer Winzenried and husband Joey and James Douglas Upton and friend Krystal Keenan all of the home; two sisters; three brothers; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter, Nola Labbreeska Upton and one sister Jolene Upton McAbee. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, August 10, 2017 at New Beginnings Church conducted by the Rev. Lisa Parfitt and Rev. Dennis Tessnier. Burial will follow at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ray Parris, Don McAbee, D.J. Gregg, Eric Sanchantixay, Steve Upton, and Nicholas Sanchantixay. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at New Beginnings Church. Memorials may be made to New Beginnings Church, 480 Sunny Acres Rd., Pacolet, SC 29372.
