Wayne Lowcock

August 14, 2019 Mr. Wayne Lowcock, age 81, of 809 Meadow Woods Rd., Buffalo, widower of Elocyle Glidden Lowcock, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at his home. Mr. Lowcock was born September 25, 1937 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, a son of the late George and Verna Lowcock. He was retired from the United State Navy having served in Vietnam. Mr. Lowcock was a member of the Apostolic Life Church of Union. Surviving are a daughter, Vicki Toney and husband Rolph of Buffalo; a son, Shawn Lowcock of the home; a step daughter, Cindy Messer of Louisiana; a step son, James Dean Clark of Maine; seven grandchildren, Jessica Toney of Jonesville, Magen Barber of Buffalo, Chris Lee of Buffalo, Danielle Messer of Union, Frank Toney of Union, Mike Messer of Florida, and Becky; two brothers, Pep Lowcock of Vermont and Bruce Lowcock of Wales; four sisters-in-law, Kathleen Bly of Jonesville, Linda Zuraw of Buffalo, Patricia McConnell and Carolyn Crawford both of Connecticut; one brother-in-law, Linwood Glidden of Enoree; and a number of great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Halter Association of Spartanburg, 1400 Carolina Country Club Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home of his granddaughter, Jessica Toney, 747 New Hope Church Rd., Union, SC 29353. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the S.R.
