Wayne West

Mr. Clifford Wayne West, age 57 of 317 Westminister Circle, Union, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home.

Mr. West was born in Union, June 1, 1966, a son of Sandra Elaine Haney West of Union and the late Ralph Leo West. He was employed with Stella Jones Corporation in Whitmire and was formerly employed with Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are a daughter, Shaina Quinn and husband Dustin of Buffalo; a son, Dustin Wayne West and wife Christin of Pacolet; two sisters, Rhonda Blackwell and Angie Benfield and husband Jeff all of Union; two brothers, Lyn West and Ralph "Skip" West Jr. both of Union; and the mother of his children, Patricia Alexander "Patty" West. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Brayden West, Coltin West, Ila Cate West, Ellison Quinn and Ivy Quinn, and special friends, Robin and Angie Duncan. He was predeceased by a sister, Tina DePratter.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at Lakeside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Friday at the church prior to the services.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Angie and Jeff Benfield, 109 Debbie Lane, Union.
