Weldon Knox, Jr.

August 12, 2017 Mr. Weldon "Dunnie" Knox, Jr., age 72, widower of Donnis Eaves Knox of 334 Pea Ridge Hwy., Jonesville passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Eden Terrace in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Knox was born in Union, SC on May 20, 1945 a son of the late Weldon Knox Sr. and Margaret Horne Knox. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and a member Mt. Joy Masonic Lodge 203. Mr. Knox was a member of Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Tracie McKelvey of Pacolet; a son, Troy Knox of Jonesville; two grandchildren, Dustin McKelvey of Pacolet and Kayla Knox of Jonesville. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Lee Roper, Rev. Glenn Ribelin and Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Wayne Belue, Larry Belue, Neil Belue, Harold Gregory, Harold Smith, Dennis Fitzgerald, Eddie Wayne Davis, JD Bright and Wayne Eaves. The following are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Kenneth Adams, James Bright, Jeffrey Bright, Mickey Belue, Steve Lanier and Dave Barbour.
