Mr. Wesley Alan Thomason, age 29, of 313 Drugstore St., Buffalo, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Thomason was born July 10, 1989 in Union, a son of Carol Inman Craig of Buffalo. He was the owner and operator of Thomason Logging and was a truck driver for many years. Mr. Thomason was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are a sister, Amy Craig of Union; a brother, Charles Craig and wife Jessica of Buffalo; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Inman and his maternal grandfather, Bo Inman and wife Barbara all of Union; four nieces and two nephews; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Brad Gregory, Edward Inman, Curtis Nichols, Thomas Nichols, Wyatt Christian, David Paige, Jamie Gist, Brandon Cody, Brandon Williams and Drew Adams. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church. Mr. Thomason will be carried to the home, 313 Drugstore St., Buffalo, on Friday afternoon where the family will also receive friends.
