Willard W. “Snowball” Hucks, Jr.

Mr. Willard Wesley "Snowball" Hucks, Jr., age 60 of 610 Toney Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Huck was born in Union, SC on September 5, 1953 a son of the late Willard Wesley Hucks, Sr. and Ada Johnson Hucks Keisler. He was a graduate of Union High School. Survivng are a daughter, Willa Hucks of Union; a son Trey Hucks and wife Jessica of Albany, OR; his long time companion Vickie Moss; three grandchildren, Blaine Therrell, Blair Therrell, and Christopher Crocker; a sister, Tanya "Lulu" Sanford; a brother Wayne Hucks; and two nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by one brother Tommy Hucks. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. Robert Scott. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon Thursday prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Willard Hucks Fund P.O. Box 293, Union, SC, 29379. The family is at the home, 610 Toney Rd, Union, SC 29379.
