William “Buddy” Brock

Mr. William Webb "Buddy" Brock, age 81 of 228 Bobo Street, Union, widower of Pauline Wilson Brock, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at his home. Mr. Brock was born in Union, SC January 3, 1937, a son of the late Jesse Leo Brock and Rena Parton Bonham. He retired from Holcombe Funeral Home and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Brock was also a member of the Union Minute Men and the Horseshoe Club. He was first married to the late Elsie Mae Tucker Brock. Surviving are three daughters: Patricia LeMaster, Donna Arrowood and husband Dennis both of Inman and Janice Cromer Brock of Gaffney; a son, Timothy Brock and wife Kerry of Inman; a step-daughter, Linda Russell; two step-sons: Doug Wilson and Mickey Wilson; a sister, Peggy Phillips; two brothers: Gene Brock and wife Ann all of Union and Jimmy Brock of Buffalo; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Brock was predeceased by a son, William E. Brock; a grandson, Jacob Brock; a step-son, Mike Wilson; a sister, Deedie Deputy and two brothers, Pete Brock and Olin "Wink" Brock. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Walter Holcombe. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Scott Arrowood, Vince Arrowood, Craig Arrowood, Jayce Arrowood, Mike Lawson and Gerald Roark. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. The family will be at their respective homes.
