William "Buster" Burkhalter

Mr. William Edgar "Buster" Burkhalter, age 61 of 118 Kissy Creek Circle Union, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Burkhalter was born in Union, July 21, 1962 a son of Ellen Corder Burkhalter of the home and the late Bobby Burkhalter, Sr. He loved his family, country music and watching Gun Smoke on television.

Surviving in addition to his mother are three brothers, Steven Burkhalter of Union, Terry Burkhalter of Laurens and Daniel Corder of the home; two sisters, Sherry Templeton of Spartanburg, and Patsy Gibson of Columbia and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Teresa Burkhalter and a brother, Bobby Burkhalter, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday at the chapel prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Harold Bobo, Daniel Corder, Travis Cohen, Michael Crumpton and Timothy Goff.

The family will be at the home, 118 Kissy Creek Circle, Union.
