William E. "Gene" Adams

Mr. William Eugene "Gene" Adams, age 43, of Polly Lane, Union, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Union Medical Center.

Gene was born in Kings Mountain, NC, September 11, 1979, a son of Patricia Justice Adams of Union. He was formerly employed as an automobile mechanic and had worked for Honest Ron's Garage. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved and appreciated nature. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his longtime companion, Loree Little of the home; two sons, Nathaniel Eugene Adams of Union and Wyatt Ethan Adams of the home; a brother, Jason Adams and wife Keri of Union; a sister, Kcee Eagle and husband Aaron of Kings Mountain, NC; a half-brother, Matthew Adams of Kings Mountain, NC; nephews, Collin and Kason Adams and Austin Eagle and a niece, Hannah Eagle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Ricky Cook. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Garden.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Adams, Nathan Adams, Wyatt Adams, Collin Adams, Kason Adams, Kang Song and Daniel Biggerstaff.

Memorials may be made to the Union Co. High School Bass Anglers, 1163 Lakeside Dr., Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home of his brother, Jason and Keri Adams, 113 Bridletrail Lane, Union, SC 29379.
