William C. Hodge

Mr. William Carroll "Bill" Hodge, age 82 of Brookview Nursing Home, Gaffney, formerly of Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Gaffney Medical Center. Mr. Hodge was born in Jonesville, SC November 22, 1931, a son of the late Hoyle J. Hodge and Evelyn Rodgers Hodge. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from Carlisle Finishing, Cone Mill. Mr. Hodge also retired from Jonesville Recreation Department. Surviving are a brother, Donald "Bubba" Hodge and wife Ruby and a nephew, Clay Hodge all of Jonesville. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 11, 2014 at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Jonesville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 279, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family is at the home of his brother, Donald and Ruby Hodge, 180 Robinson Farm Rd., Jonesville.
