William Terry Lawson

Mr. William Terry Lawson, age 67 of 1303 Mt. Lebanon Rd., Pauline, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his home. Terry was born in Spartanburg on October 21, 1950 a son of the late Garland Lawson and Katherine Jett Lawson. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from MEMC in Moore. Mr. Lawson was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. He was an avid lover of South Carolina History and Native American History and Culture. Mr. Lawson was also an avid South Carolina Gamecock Fan. Surviving are one sister, Linda Lawson Johnson and husband Willie of Pauline; two brothers, Bruce Lawson and wife Linda of Reidville and Randy Lawson and wife Kathy of Pauline; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and a beloved K-9 Baby Scotty. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with eulogy given by Mr. Jon Murphy. Visitation will be immediately following the graveside services in the Fellowship Hall of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Building Fund, 2153 Mt. Lebanon Road, Buffalo, SC 29321. The family is at the home, of his niece, Tracy Lawson and husband Doyle, 1313 Mt. Lebanon Rd., Pauline, SC 29374.
