William Ellis Rochester

Mr. William Ellis Rochester, age 70 of 401 East Main Street, Apt. 211, Pacolet, SC passed Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home. Mr. Rochester was born in Cherokee County, SC September 20, 1947, a son of the late Ralph Ellis Rochester and Estelle Patterson Rochester. He was a member of Hammett Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Yvonne Blacketer and husband Joe of FL; a son, Christopher Ray Rochester of Gaffney; two sisters: Thelma Rochester Kirby of Spartanburg and Lillian Fowler of Pacolet; a brother, David Howard Rochester and wife Gail of Pacolet and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Hammett Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Brady Rochester. Nephews of Mr. Rochester will serve as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to William Ellis Rochester Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of his brother, David and Gail Rochester, 171 Sutton Rd., Pacolet.
