William Jefferson Scales

September 28, 2018 Mr. William Jefferson Scales, age 61, husband of Eva Scales, of 1078 Meansville Rd., Union, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Scales was born December 1, 1956 in Union, a son of the late William Scales, Sr. and Mary Stepp Scales. He was a graduate of Union High School and attended the University of South Carolina at Union. Mr. Scales was formerly employed with Her Majesty. He was a member of the Union Church of Christ and the Union Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Lee Scales and Terry Scales both of Union; one sister, Linda Pardue and husband Gene of Union; and one grandson, Caden Scales of Union. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2018 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Minister Terry Hale. Memorials may be made to the Union Church of Christ, 704 N. Duncan Bypass, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 1078 Meansville Rd., Union, SC 29379.
