Wilton Collicott Mann

Mr. Wilton Collicott Mann, age 54, of 415 Pineneedle Rd., Union, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024.

Mr. Mann was born July 16, 1970 in Durham, NC, the son of Will and Jenny Lynn Mann of Cherry Grove, SC.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Sharon, and daughter, Kyra of the home. His sister, Wendy Mann (Sammy Martin) and niece, Adela who reside in Chapel Hill, NC. Mr. Mann is also survived by a beloved sister-in-law, Sherry Seaman (Jim) of Inman, sister -in-law, Lavine Burnett of McConnells and a nephew William Burnett (Julia). There are also a number of aunts, uncles and cousins left behind. Mr. Mann was a graduate of Chapel Hill High School where he was a member of a NC State High School League Basketball Championship team. He also attended Brewster Academy in New Hampshire and NC State in Raliegh, NC.  He loved to hunt, fish, play golf and just loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach in Cherry Grove. Mr. Mann was an excellent cook and a grill master which offered him a chance to spend time with friends and family. He loved life and made friends easily and was always available to help those friends anytime they needed something. Mr. Mann was a Territorial Sales Representative for Superior Plus Propane and attended Faith Community Church. He was predeceased by his grandparents Dorothy and Wilton Mann and Virginia and John Mathis, special mother-in-law, Shirley Sumner Burnett and brother-in-law, Wendell Burnett. The loves of his life were his wife Sharon and daughter Kyra. He was so very proud of both of them.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, August 12, 2024 at Faith Community Church conducted by Pastor Steven McAbee. Visitation will be held from 11:00 till 11:45 AM prior to the services.
