Annie Ruth Robinson

            Mrs. Annie Ruth Carter Robinson, age 83, widow of Leon Leonard Robinson, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.

            Mrs. Robinson was born in Union, March 21, 1939, a daughter of the late Harold and Millie Turner Carter. She was a homemaker and a member of Gilead Baptist Church where she was a former choir member and served as treasurer for her Sunday School class.

            Surviving are two sisters, Margie C. Cannon of Union and Mary L. Upton and husband Carol of Buffalo; two brothers, Harold Dean Carter and Francis “Coot” Carter and wife Linda all of Union; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Theron Eugene Carter and Bobby Wayne Carter.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Gilead Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Eddie Saxon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

            Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday at the church prior to the services.

            Active pallbearers will be Jason Lipsey, Nathan Arrington, Danny Carter, Randell Boulware, Ronnie Carter and Lance Delaney.

            Memorial may be made to Gilead Baptist Church, PO Box 38, Jonesville SC 29353.

            The family will be at the home of her sister, Mary and Carol Upton, 2119 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo.
