Beth McDonald Obituary

            Mrs. Beth Adams McDonald, age 64, wife of Joe McDonald of 132 Adams Hill Rd., Union, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at Union Medical Center.

            Mrs. McDonald was born in Union, December 8, 1959, a daughter of the late Joe Fields “Babe” Adams, Sr. and Ann Little Adams. She was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Technical College. Beth was employed with Wallace Thompson Hospital for 27 years and she was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her plants. Beth had a sweet soul and was known for her beautiful smile that would brighten everyone’s day.

            Surviving in addition to her husband are two special grandsons, David Eugene Bradley, III and William Donnie Lee Bradley both of Chesnee; two sisters, Debbie A. O’Daniel of Santuc and Carol A. Petty of Buffalo, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved fur babies, Lucas Tanner and Lincoln. She was predeceased by a brother, Joe Fields Adams, Jr.

            The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff and nurses of Union Medical Center, 3rd Floor and Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their care of Beth and her family. Also a special Thank You to her friends, Amy Dixon and Susan Lawson for their love and support shown to Beth and Joe during her illness.

            A service to celebrate her life will be held graveside 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Roger Shuford. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.

            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 330 Santuc Dr., Union, SC 29379.

            The family will be at the home, 132 Adams Hill Rd., Union.
