Carl Mitchell Coleman

           Mr. Carl Mitchell “Mitch” Coleman, age 82, of Brittany Manor Apts., Union, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at his home.

            Mr. Coleman was born in Union, January 2, 1939, a son of the late Alex Gordon Coleman and Faye Franklin Coleman. He was a graduate of Union High School and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Mr. Coleman retired from Coleman Upholstery where he worked along side his brother, Earl. He was a member of the Union Masonic Lodge and served as an auxiliary policeman with the City of Union, Public Safety Department.

            Surviving are a daughter, Misty Osborne and husband Chip of Inman; a brother, Earl Coleman and wife Diane of Union; a grandson, Jullian Osborne and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jadie Osborne.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. It is requested that social distancing and mask protocols be followed.
