Charles T Shelton

Mr. Charles T. Shelton, age 84, of 973 Main St., Buffalo, widower of Sally Baker Shelton, passed away, Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Shelton was born September 11, 1936, in Michigan, a son of the late David Shelton and Alice Schwartz Shelton.  He was a former Custodian Worker.  Mr. Shelton was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. 

Surviving are four stepsons, Steve Nelson of North Carolina, Richard Nelson of Lexington, Michael Nelson and wife Dinna Munoz of California, and John Nelson of Lexington; a sister, Chris Foubare; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Dawn Dudley; two brothers, Glenn Shelton, and Richard Shelton; and a niece, Kathy Shelton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 10, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Johnny Burgess and Mr. Larry Goins.  Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be the Men of the Church.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, prior to the services at the Church.
