Mr. Curtis Dean Belue, age 80, of Lockhart, widower of Brenda Lee Black Belue, passed away, Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.
Mr. Belue was born August 28, 1941, in Gaffney, a son of the late Joe and Mary Gregory Belue. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and had retired from Milliken & Co after 30 years as a truck driver. Mr. Belue attended of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church as long as his health permitted, and he was a lifetime Mason.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy B. Turner and husband Gary of Lockhart; a son, Kennith “Bo” Belue of Lockhart; two sisters, Betty Jo Willard of Chester and Laverne Galloway of Lancaster; a sister-in-law, Sue Deal; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Turner and wife Tiffany and Brandon Turner and wife Polly; two great-grandchildren, Bentley Turner and Addison Turner; and a close friend, Margaret McCoy of Cross Keys. He was predeceased by a grandson, Travis Turner.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 23, 2022 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Sam Baine. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the services at the church.
