Dale Ford Lipsey

Mrs. Dale Ford Lipsey, age 81, of 49 Loop, Union, widow of Marvin Alber Lipsey, passed away, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Brookstone Terrace.

Mrs. Lipsey was born February 22, 1940 in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late J.C. Ford and Viola Jones Ford.  She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from Union County Schools.  Mrs. Lipsey was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church.  She had previously played the piano for Ottaray Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Robin H. Belue and husband Jimmy, Renae Duncan and husband Jimmy, and Wendy Lawson and husband David all of Union; two brothers, Rev. Jerry Ford and wife Patra of Pelzer and Danny Ford of Union; a sister, Sandra West of West Springs; a brother-in-law, Millard Lipsey; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Moss and Della Whitt; five grandchildren, Jason Belue of Union, Casey Duncan and Aaron Eaves of Union, Christin West and husband Dustin of Pacolet, Wendy D. Cook and husband William of Union, and Jamie Duncan of Union; six great-grandchildren, Kyler Eaves, Coltin West, Ila Cate West, Brett Gruver, Elizabeth Johnson, and Emma Brown; and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Joann Heatherly; two sisters-in-law, Cornelia Ford and Peggy Henderson; and four brothers-in-law, Roger, Ronnie, Jerry, and Jr. Lipsey.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Mark Truitt and Rev. Charles Hutcheson. 

Active pallbearers will be Jason Belue, Aaron Eaves, Robin Duncan, David Lawson, Steven Ford, Larry West, Kenny West, and Dustin West.

Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Robin Belue and husband Jimmy, 913 Browns Creek Church Rd., Union, SC 29379.
