Dennis Wayne Horton

            Mr. Dennis Wayne Horton, age 61, husband of Melina Vanderford Welch Horton of 4226 Jonesville Lockhart Hwy., Union, (Lockhart) passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

            Mr. Horton was born in Union, August 31, 1959, a son of the late John Henry Horton and Betty Gibson Horton. He was a retired painter and attended Lockhart schools.

            Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Michael Horton of York; two daughters, Jennifer Vanderford and Allison Smith both of Lockhart; two grandchildren, Kayden Williams and Austyn Carlisle; three sisters, Dianne Horton, Debbie Allen and Tammy Horton all of Lockhart; a brother, Roger Horton of Lockhart and a number of nieces and nephews.

            A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

            The family will be at the home, 4226 Jonesville Lockhart Hwy., Union.
