Diane West Robertson

Mrs. Diane West “Di” Robertson, age 75, widow of William H. Robertson of 168 Lake Run Rd., Union, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

Mrs. Robertson was born in Spartanburg, June 22, 1947, a daughter of the late Homer C. West and Etheleen Lee West. She was a graduate of Dorman High School and attended Clemson University and the University of South Carolina. She was previously employed with Paragon Plastics and later worked for State Farm Insurance. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she was a former leader of the youth group and a choir member. Mrs. Robertson was also a member of the Union Jaycees, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Union Co. Junior Charity League. She had also served as a president of the PTA at Foster Park Elementary School.

Surviving are two daughters, Amy Weber of the home, and Candace Weber Sturcken of Greenville; a step daughter, Kathleen Robertson Norton of Rock Hill; a step son, William Kevin Robertson of California; and two sisters, Barbara Sellers and husband Keith of Spartanburg and Donna West Cook and husband Peden of Moore. She is also survived by grandchildren, William Kent Groves, Connor Medford, Brooks Sturcken, Trace Sturcken, Cali Norton, Croft Norton, Ivey Medford, Cole Haney, Bailey Robertson and Georgie Robertson; great-grandchildren, Zach Groves, Liam Groves, Rhett Groves and Kingston Martin; a nephew, Trent Cook; a niece Farrah Sellers; a great-niece, Kelsey Sellers and a great-nephew, Houston Sellers. She was predeceased by a nephew, Michael Sellers.

The family wishes to say a special Thank You to Agape Hospice, the staff and nurses of Spartanburg Regional 5th floor and ProMedica for their care and compassion shown to Mrs. Robertson and her family.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday February 6, 2023, at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Lee Phillips. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
