Mr. Donald “Papa Tee” Terrance English age 81, loving husband of Delores Bell English went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 3, 2021, at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.
Mr. English was born September 19, 1939 in Whitmire, SC a son of the late Douglass English and Ida Trammell English. He was a graduate of Whitmire High School and a member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church where he served on the finance committee, a member of the Men’s Club and a member of W.S. Whitener’s Sunday school class. While in high school he was an avid baseball player and later played while serving in the United States Army. Mr. English was also an avid golfer.
Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty-five years are son, Joey English and wife Marie, their children, Lisa Brannon and Randy Cannon and their grandchildren, Nick Arrington, Nathan Arrington, Levi Cannon and Rylee Cannon; son, Eric English and wife Lauri and their children, Gunnar English, Kirklyn English and Austyn English; a daughter, Angela Wyatt and husband John, their (4) sons: son, Phillip and wife Jena Wyatt, and their children, Mahayla Wyatt and Logan Wyatt; son, Tyler and wife Hillary Wyatt, and their children, Aubrey Wyatt and Hannah Wyatt; son, Tanner and wife Emery Wyatt; and son, Samuel Terrance Wyatt; a sister Nancy Brock, and a brother Mac English and wife Barbara. Mr. English was predeceased by three sisters, Kate Arrowood, Ruth Shields and Louise Blackwell and three brothers, David English, Tony English (Terry’s twin brother) and Kenneth English.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Duncan Acres United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Merritt Wentz. Interment will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be John Wyatt, Phillip Wyatt, Tyler Wyatt, Tanner Wyatt, Samuel Wyatt, and Jay Coffer.
The family will receive friends at Duncan Acres United Methodist Church from 2:00 until 3:20 PM Sunday prior to the service.

The family would like to express an “Heart Felt” thank you to Dr. David Keith for his years of love and care provided to “Papa Tee”. They would also like to express their appreciation to Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Rehabilitation, Ellen Sagar Nursing Center and Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their support during Terry’s latest illness.
