Donald James Harrison

Mr. Donald James Harrison, age 78 widower of Carol Willard Harrison of 117 Riley Rd., Buffalo went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 26, 2020.

Mr. Harrison was born in Spartanburg August 12, 1941 a son of the late Carl James and Ellen Lawson Harrison.  He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was retired from Torrington Company.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Haynes and husband, Billy of Lancaster; two sons, Doug Harrison and wife Donna and Timothy Harrison and wife Angie all of Union; Grandchildren, Tomeka Cairnes and husband Jamie, Kelly Wix and husband Travis, Stephanie Haynes and Reid Smith; five great-grandchildren; special friend, Carole Ivey.  Mr. Harrison was predeceased by a sister, Mary Harrison.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Victory Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Cole. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Rick Matthews, Leonard Pruitt, Tim Sizemore, Billy Ward, Rickey Wix and Travis Wix.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Crescent Home Hospice, for the love, care and compassion given to Mr. Harrison.
